MY EAGLE TALON

IS NOW GONE!!!

MY *NEW* CAR HAD FINALLY COME....

This isn't my car... Mine looked better. ;-)

It was to have a Competition Stereo that would have taken me to the World Finals (IASCA!)

On April 23rd, 1998, I picked up a brand new, '97 Talon with just 350 klicks.
(dats Kilometers for all ya U.S. types).

And then, on February 23rd, 1999, I rolled my dream car and broke my neck.

See the results of the accident by clicking on the picture below.

Big smile because it KNOWS it looks good :-)

I had started a doing few performance and appearance modifications to the
vehicle, before it was destroyed. The link HERE will describe some of those.

As you can see, my Eagle had a bright, "Indy" red exterior with the standard
black roof, side mirrors and rear fin. It was loaded to the nuts (lug nuts of
course) with every single option available on an Eagle. Some of the
specs were All Wheel Drive, Turbo, Auto (ahh well...), Leather,
Sunroof, an 8 speaker stereo with tape and CD player (long
ago ripped out for my aftermarket stuff), and so much more!

My baby arrived on the night of April 23rd and weighed
in at about 3200lbs. THAT was an exciting delivery...

Freshly washed and only a couple days old....

I liked it. :)

Only one month old and already dissasembled
numerous times

Some changes that had occured since these pictures were taken (besides the vehicle
being turned into molten metal of course), were the rear, three windows had been
tinted to 3% (really dark!). I would have loved to have done the two door windows
also, but that's illegal up here in Saskatchewan. Hasn't stopped quite a few people,
but I had to scrape the tint off of my Acura once, and I didn't want to do that again.

I had a red, DSM Racing Sticker on the top of the windshield too.

Stock 2.0L before I start modding it. ;-)
