1995 EAGLE TALON ESi
Last Updated March 26th, 1999
In the early spring of 1996, my family picked up a 1995, Eagle
Talon ESi (base model) that
had been repossessed. Not even a year old, it already had about
50,000km on it. I couldn't
believe it the first time I saw it. It was sitting in the corner
of a lot, in a bit of snow, so low
to the ground, it looked like it was laying on it. :)
The white exterior was gorgeous too, and
the first time I sat inside - I knew this
sports car was made for me.

It was the first manual transmission I had ever driven. It was harder than I expected,
but
I caught on pretty quick (in my own opinion anyways) and wasn't doing too bad
(though was
still pretty paranoid on hills). I really enjoyed crusing around in this
hot car and listening
to the best factory stereo system I had ever heard.
The car, unfortunately, was a base model (without the turbo or all-wheel-drive
of the more expensive versions), and it had quite a few miles on it. So, after only three
months of
ownership, we sold the car and I got my 1994, Acura Integra.
